Privacy Policy

Icarus: Ascension · Last updated November 7, 2026

This policy explains what information Icarus: Ascension (the "game") collects on iOS and Android, and how it is used. The game is made by Eleven Twelve ("we", "us").

In short: we don't ask for your name, email or any account, and your game progress stays on your device. The game shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google may collect device and usage data to show and measure those ads, subject to your consent where the law requires it.

Information we collect

We do not run our own servers for the game and we do not collect personal information. Your progress (level, XP, score, missions, unlocked items) and settings are stored locally on your device. We cannot see this data, and it is deleted when you delete the game.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game shows banner ads and optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob, provided by Google LLC. To serve, limit, measure and prevent fraud in ads, Google's software in the game may collect:

DataExamples
Device identifiersAdvertising ID on Android; on iOS, an app-scoped identifier (the game does not ask for permission to track, so Google does not receive your device's IDFA)
Device and network informationDevice model, operating system, language, IP address and approximate (coarse) location derived from it
Ad interactionsWhich ads were shown, tapped or watched to the end
DiagnosticsCrash and performance data from the ads SDK

Google uses this data as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Your consent choices

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland or a US state with its own privacy law, the game uses Google's User Messaging Platform to ask for your consent (or let you opt out) before personalized ads are shown. If you decline, Google may still show non-personalized ads, which use limited data for frequency capping, fraud prevention and measurement.

On Android you can change your choice any time with Ad Privacy Choices in the game's Support menu. You can also limit ad tracking in your device settings: on Android under Settings, Privacy, Ads; on iOS under Settings, Privacy & Security, Apple Advertising.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will help.

Data sharing and sale

We do not sell personal information. The only third party that receives data from the game is Google, for the advertising described above.

Security and retention

Game data stays on your device and is removed when you delete the game. Data Google collects is kept according to Google's own retention policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. Because we don't hold personal data about you, most requests are best directed to Google at myaccount.google.com. We're happy to help either way.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
